From the Airwaves to the Dancefloor

Award-winning radio host Amaza Ntshanga has officially stepped into the music spotlight with the release of his much-anticipated debut AfroTech single, “Bana Yango,” featuring rising vocalist Jon Delinger. The track was released on Friday, 6 March 2026, marking a new chapter in Ntshanga’s creative journey beyond broadcasting.

Known for his influential voice on the airwaves and his deep passion for African electronic music, Ntshanga now channels that passion into the studio. With “Bana Yango,” he introduces listeners to a sound that merges AfroTech rhythms with immersive electronic production.

A Sonic Celebration of AfroTech

“Bana Yango” blends atmospheric synths, pulsating AfroTech rhythms, and soulful vocal textures to create a powerful dance-floor-ready record. The single captures the spiritual and hypnotic essence of AfroTech while maintaining strong roots in African dance culture.

The collaboration with Jon Delinger adds a compelling vocal dimension to the track. His emotive delivery complements the song’s layered production, helping shape a soundscape that is equally suited for club play and streaming platforms.

Amaza Ntshanga on His Musical Vision

For Ntshanga, the move into music production represents the fulfillment of a long-held dream.

“Music has always been a huge part of my life through radio, but creating my own sound has been a dream for a long time. Bana Yango is about energy, connection, and celebrating African electronic music with the world,” he says.

Ntshanga also expressed his deep connection to the AfroTech genre, describing it as a timeless musical language.

“Afro Tech speaks to my soul. It’s rooted, spiritual, patient, and intentional. It allows African rhythm to meet global electronic language without losing identity. For me, Afro Tech isn’t about trends, it’s about timelessness.”
