The move introduces a refreshed management structure and new official booking channels as the Tiya Mfana hitmaker positions herself for the next phase of her career heading into the South African summer season.
DJ Tshegu thanks former management
While announcing the transition, DJ Tshegu acknowledged her previous management team at 18 Area, thanking them for the role they played in developing and supporting her career.
Rather than framing the move as a contentious split, the artist expressed gratitude for the contribution of her former team as she moves forward independently under DJ Tshegu Entertainment.
The transition represents an important step for the Bloemfontein-born artist, whose career has grown from her early years behind the decks into becoming a recognised name within South Africa’s Amapiano scene.

The company has urged promoters, clients and fans to verify engagements through DJ Tshegu’s newly announced official channels, stressing that bookings that have not been confirmed through them should not be regarded as legitimate.
