About Young Stunna

Sandile Fortune Msimango- well known in the industry as Young Stunna, was born and raised in Daveyton. Growing up he was surrounded by musicians, his love for music was truly inspired by both his parents who were both musicians at the time. His grandmother held a church service at home, which also played a huge role in his musical background. In Growing up in Daveyton the house was filled with multiple music influences by his grandmother who played Brenda Fassie, Lebo Mathosa. Their energy and content inspired him to pursue his dreams in the music industry. In Grade 5, Young Stunna starting writing and released his first track as a Hip Hop artist. In 2012 he started pursuing his dreams as a Hip Hop artist and poet, he also dabbled in theatre and that is how he developed his character, Young Stunna, he was 12 years old at the time Young Stunna has worked with industry favourites such as TylerICU, Madumane, Eeque Da Dreama, Makwa, Kabza De Small, Mas Musiq, Aymos and Seekay. Young Stunner continues to be a voice for the youth and open up the industry for those to follow.
