Afro Tech DJ, Citizen Deep graces us this July with a new album titled “Arcade 2” which is expected to be a game changer for the Afro Tech community this 2022. The focus single features amapiano’s rising star Nkosazana Daughter and dance music vocalist Azana making this single one to look out for this winter.
His passion for music has seen him grow in leaps and bounds over the years. Since he started producing music, he has released a series of successful EPs like Ntima, Alkebulan, Energy and Image. In June 2021, he released his first studio album titled ARCADE.
The album features seasoned artists, producers and talented vocalists, such as Thiwe, Berita, Bukeka, Lizwi, Sir Trill to name a few. The project was inspired by him having finally found his signature sound which then gave him the opportunity to push his creativity to new heights as he made music that his followers can enjoy in a variety of environments.
Arcade 2 is an eleven track album which features a vast list of features such as Afro traction, Jessica LM and Vernotaile. Making this album the perfect fusion between Afro Tech and dance music and absolutely easy on the ears.
When asked how it was working with Nkosazana Daughter & Azana, Citizen Deep said:
Both Azana and Nkosazana are friends and the chemistry between them in the creative space is electric! These two young ladies never miss. Working with them was a delight, they’re open to trying out new ideas, which made the creation process smooth and fun
There is so much to expect from the project, ARCADE 2 has 12 collaborations. Some of the killer collaborations include Afrotraction, DJ Terance, Josiah De Disciple just to mention a few,
